Syllabus

Announcement

1. The volunteers who present their finals on December 1 please send an indication email to the instructor. There'll be no make-up for  Midterm 2 and final presentation.

2. November 24 has no class. The campus will be closed for the Thanksgiving Day.

2. Due to the class schedule, only 4 projects are required. Project 5 has be cancelled.

3. The class meeting in November 3 will be cancelled. However, you are expected to

   • complete your all missing homework and projects, if any. Although you will have penalty, late submission is still much better than nothing;

   • practice various features of Word and Excel;

   • preview PowerPoint

4. The class meeting in September 29 will be cancelled. You are expected to read Chapter 1: Microsoft Office Basics, of the second textbook: Quick Course in Microsoft Office 2000.

5. The first midterm test will be held on October 6, Saturday, in class. The test contents will cover the first textbook, all chapters. The test questions will be selected from the the TEST PREPARATION questions of each chapter, including true/false, multiple choice, completion, and matching key terms/definitions.
