Course Software
to Install
1. Download and install Microsoft’s
Visual Studio 2022 Community (requires Microsoft Windows 7, 8, or 10)
a. Under WORKLOADS select “Desktop
development with C++”
(this has the Microsoft Micro-Assembly
tool chain)
2. Download irvine.zip
and uncompressed and put at the root of main hard drive (e.g. C:\)
once
this is done you should have a folder call irvine
at C: (e.g. C:\irvine)
In
this folder there should be files such as Irvine32.inc (i.e.
C:\irvine\Irvine32.inc)
3. Download Project32_VS2022.zip
and uncompressed and put in the new irvine folder
(e.g.
C:\irvine\Project32_VS2019)
Or
in place of 2 & 3 download a striped down version of both (Irvine_with_Project.zip)
Unzip and put at the root of your C:/ drive (C:/Irvine)
