CSC-221: Introduction to Assembly and Computer Organization

 

 

 

Course Software to Install

 

1.   Download and install Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2022 Community (requires Microsoft Windows 7, 8, or 10)

a.   Under WORKLOADS select “Desktop development with C++”
 (this has the Microsoft Micro-Assembly tool chain)

 

 

2.   Download irvine.zip and uncompressed and put at the root of main hard drive (e.g. C:\)
  once this is done you should have a folder call irvine at C:  (e.g. C:\irvine)
  In this folder there should be files such as Irvine32.inc (i.e. C:\irvine\Irvine32.inc)

 

3.   Download Project32_VS2022.zip and uncompressed and put in the new irvine folder
  (e.g. C:\irvine\Project32_VS2019)

 

Or in place of 2 & 3 download a striped down version of both (Irvine_with_Project.zip)
Unzip and put at the root of your C:/ drive (C:/Irvine)
